Summer is a 26 year old, 16.2hh mare owned by Charlie McCulloch.  At the moment she mainly hacks but still takes part in some showing.  Summer can suffer from stiffness, but last winter she contracted strangles, then had an allergic reaction to penicillin causing colic twice which caused her to lose a lot of weight from five days not eating, so I’m concerned she goes into winter with a good covering to keep her happy and healthy.
