My Name is Charlotte Haynes and I am an 11yo equestrian and TikTok content creator.  I currently own 2 cobs, Aggie 11yo and Maple who is only 4.5 and came to us from Ireland in November.

1. Where are you based?

We are based near Guildford in Surrey on the most fun DIY yard with so many friends.

2. When did your riding journey begin?

I started riding when I was 2yo on a little Shetland called Luna.

3. What discipline(s) do you compete in?

We compete in all disciplines:  dressage, jumping, arena eventing, hunter trials, working equitation and showing. We have even successfully competed in barrel racing!

4. What has been your proudest achievement so far?

Proudest achievement was backing our Spanish mare myself and successfully competing Aggie at the Sunshine tour.

5. Tell us about your top horse!

Aggie is my heart pony, we have had her  4 years but Maple is currently my main riding horse.

6. What does a typical day look like for you?

I go to secondary school, as soon as I come out, we go straight to the yard where we stay till late. I love hacking in the week in the spring/summer. We have 2 schools and a cross country field at the yard that we can use all year round. At the weekend, we spend the whole day at the yard,  go to local shows or go spectate at some of the big events.

7. What are your goals for the future?

Produce Maple (who is rising 5) to show and jump and compete more with her. Continue to make fun content and get more followers on TikTok. I am not sure if I will ever compete high level but I would love to be part of the support team of an international eventer.

8. Do you have any top riding tips or advice?

Don’t give up on when things get hard and always listen to your pony.

9. Do you have any pre-competition rituals or lucky habits?

Not really!

10. Favourite post-ride snack or treat?

Chips at events 😋

11. What’s your favourite Rowen Barbary product and why?

Calm and comfort, it has everything in it that our Cobs need and smells so good! The ponies love it!
