Christa Davis

Name: Christa Davis

Discipline: Showing and Hunting

Based in: Launceston, Cornwall

Age when started riding10 years old

Favourite Snack: Carrots and Hummus but I also have a sweet spot for anything chocolatey

Future goals: The first one is to qualify all the Team for HOYS next season. The second is to bring out two rides in a few different classes next season....Watch this space!

Top tips: Everyone needs Rowen Barbary in their yards! There's no such thing as a fussy eater with sweet smelling mash.

Don't be afraid to ask for help, we all make mistakes and most of the time they can be fixed.

Work hard, play hard but most importantly have fun and enjoy!

Favourite Rowen Barbary products: ReadyMash Extra; we use this all year round on the Hunters and Show horses, their weight looks super BUT healthy and their coats are always glossy.

Beetroot and Carrot Mash; these are brilliant for hiding antibiotics in.

Do you have any mascots/rituals whilst out competing? Everyone has someone in their discipline that they look up to I think, I often spend any free time at shows watching and learning new tricks of the trade.

Secret Fact: I won't have anyone plait a horse for me, be it for hunting or showing. I have always been the same and I certainly won't change. If anyone was to say they looked scruffy I can't blame anyone but myself! Thankfullly this has never happened yet!
