GLM (Green Lipped Muscle) is an amazing naturally occurring source for omega 3 as well a high protein source, all of which have been linked to aiding and supporting horses and ponies’ joints and inflammation. *A study found that after 26 horses with primary fetlock lameness were given a dose of 25 mg/kg bwt/day LPPC or placebo for 56 days, the horses that were given GLM had visibly reduced lameness as well as an improved score on their inflection tests as well as reduced joint pain. The unique qualities in GLM such as the Omega 3 have been **clinically proven to aid inflammation when tested on horses suffering from Osteoarthritis (OA).
GLM contains in every 100g approximately, 50g protein and 1.8 – 4g of fat. GLM is carefully processed from sustainable sources in New Zealand. Each recommended dosage contains a variety of natural joint aids for horses, GLM is ideal for horses in high workloads and may need joint prevention for later life, or seniors already enduring symptoms of joint pain and inflammation.
