Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a naturally aromatic spice from the ginger family that has been used for centuries as part of traditional nutrition. Rich in naturally occurring Curcumin, turmeric is valued for its antioxidant properties and is widely fed to support joint comfort, mobility and overall wellbeing in horses and ponies.
Turmeric is a popular choice for older horses, performance horses and those in regular work, helping to support normal movement and comfort as part of a balanced feeding programme. It is also commonly included in the diets of horses requiring additional nutritional support following exercise.

As Curcumin is naturally fat-soluble, turmeric is often fed alongside a source of oil and black pepper to help optimise absorption.

Large vs Small Orders
Small orders are orders that weigh less than 110Kg or contain less than 6 items, delivery price from £2.90. These orders will be dispatched by parcel courier. Large orders over 110Kg and containing 6 items or more will be dispatched by pallet network from £30.00
