Keep Warm this Winter with Rowen Barbary

As temperatures start to drop many horse owners will be reviewing their winter management to make sure their horse stays fit and well this winter, with many now opting to feed a mash as part of their horses daily feed routine. Rowen Barbary Mashes have long been recognised for a number of health benefits suitable for horses of all ages and activity levels.

Poor Dentition
Once soaked Rowen Barbary Mashes all form a soft, textured mash which are ideal for horses suffering from dental problems, especially for those looking for a forage replacer.

Hydration
Over winter we know that some horses can be reluctant to drink cold water, so to help improve fluid uptake a mash is recommended, with the Rowen Barbary mashes all having an excellent water holding capacity.

Fully Balanced
All Rowen Barbary Mashes are fully balanced in essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements so you know your horse will be receiving all their daily nutrients in one bag. This excludes ReadyFibre Mash which is a forage replacer.

Fussy Feeders
By adding a mash into the horses daily diet, especially if it contains added herbs or aromas is a great way to encourage appetite, and very useful for helping disguise any supplements or medication.

Quick Soaking
Taking just 5 minutes to soak with cold water (quicker with warm) Rowen Barbary Mashes are convenient to use both at home and away. This excludes Solution Mash which takes 60 minutes.

Feeding Cost-Effectively
With the costs of horse ownership ever increasing, it is more important than ever to ensure correct nutrition and with many of the Rowen Barbary Mashes designed to be fed as the sole concentrate feed this is an ideal way to help feed more efficiently.

Rowen Barbary Mashes include ReadyMash Extra, Solution Mash, ReadyMash and ReadyFibre Mash, along with a range of different flavoured Treats.
