About Martha

Where are you based?
Gloucestershire
When did you start riding?
I was lucky enough to be put on a pony before I could walk! So 23 years ago…
What discipline do you do?
Eventing
Top horse?
Ballyartan Genie, an Irish warmblood I bought as a 5yo hunt horse. We’ve competed up to BE intermediate novice level together and hope to complete a 2* this season.
What is your favourite snack?
Does Pepsi max count?!
What are your goals for the future?
Produce my young horse Tommy as best I can in order to give him the correct foundations to be a successful event horse (we have high hopes for him!). I’d also like to aim Ballyartan Genie at a 2*L. A very long term goal is to ride at Badminton 5*…
Any top tips?
Always remember why, and where you started.
What are your rituals?
My horses needs always come first
What is your favourite RB product?
Love them all, however the RB tutti frutti mash is very beneficial now the event season is starting. The convenient packaging makes it easy to put in the lorry, and it’s great for keeping the horses hydrated after strenuous work.
