With a 50% oil content Rowen Barbary Sumo Original is an extremely valuable feed for all horses from youngsters to veterans, especially when trying to perfect condition and enrich the bloom in the coat.
Providing super high levels of oils and fatty acids alongside the necessary nutrients, specifically antioxidants, Vitamin E and C along with Selenium and Zinc, helps ensure excellent overall condition, encouraging weight gain and an improvement in topline.
As it is cereal and molasses free it is also extremely useful to feed to horses requiring a diet that is low in both starch and sugar, providing a safe source of calories in an energy dense form, suited also to horses with a limited appetite. This also helps make Rowen Barbary Sumo Original ideal for feeding to horses that are prone to nervous and excitable behaviour needing a non-heating diet, along with those susceptible to laminitis and Cushing's syndrome. Rowen Barbary Sumo Original can also be safely fed to horses prone to gastric ulcers.
Rowen Barbary Sumo Original also helps supply a beneficial source of slow release energy for improved stamina, providing twice the amount of energy as carbohydrates from more traditional cereals.

Large vs Small Orders
Small orders are orders that weigh less than 110Kg or contain less than 6 items, delivery price from £2.90. These orders will be dispatched by parcel courier. Large orders over 110Kg and containing 6 items or more will be dispatched by pallet network from £30.00

Introduce slowly over a 10-day period building up to about 0.5g per 1kg bodyweight daily until the required condition is achieved. When the required level of condition is achieved, gradually reduce the quantities fed to a level that will maintain condition and bloom.
When very high levels of dietary oils are required up to three times these levels can be fed.
